Object lesson

Salt Lake City-based objects conservator Kimberleigh Collins-Peynaud removes unnecessary adhesive from an ancestral storage jar found in Salt Creek in Canyonlands National Park in 1975. The live conservation demonstration, held at the Moab Museum on Wednesday, July 27, was part of the museum’s Community History Program supported by Utah Humanities. “We’re excited to give visitors and community members a peek behind the scenes into the work that happens at museums,” said Community Relations Officer Mary Langworthy.
