Mayoral candidates reflect on Moab’s priorities

Every candidate said that the job of mayor will be their top priority if they win.

But, what will be their top priorities on the job? More specifically, what will each of them to do earn the trust and backing of the residents they represent?

In an effort to get at the answers, The Times-Independent asked each candidate two sets of questions:

  1. Based on their conversations with Moabites, what would be the top issue each candidate advocates for, and how will they do so?
  2. As they lead policy discussions and public meetings on charged topics, what would each candidate, if elected, do to promote healthy, productive conversation?
