The collection by the Utah Division of Arts & Museums includes Utah’s high school artists.

“The works selected for the traveling exhibition illustrate the exceptional talent, diversity, originality, and creativity of Utah’s young visual artists,” reads the statement from the library’s monthly newsletter. “The exhibition is also a tribute to the art teachers in Utah’s high schools who inspire, direct and refine the work of these artists.”

The library is open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays.

“Astronomer and NASA Solar System Ambassador Crystal White will detail what these images tell us and share the amazing new insights the JWST is already providing.” The event takes place at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, inside the large meeting room.

The library is located at 257 East Center Street next to City Hall.
