As part of an upcoming Federal Lands Access Program (FLAP) Grant application, Grand County is soliciting public comment.
Grand County is preparing an application for the FLAP Grant as part of the Kane Creek Roadway improvement project. This project is intended to resurface and improve Kane Creek Boulevard from 500 West to the BLM land at the entrance to Kane Creek Canyon.
The FLAP Grant is a Federal program created as a mechanism to assist in creating upgrades to transportation facilities that provide access to Federal lands. The Access Program supplements State and local resources for public roads, and other transportation facilities that provide seamless access to high-use Federal recreation sites within federally-owned lands.
Please join us September 14th, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at the Grand Center at 182 N. 500 W., in Room 3, to view the presentation and offer your feedback and support for the project. Per Grand County Policy, masks are required to be worn at all County events.
