Friends, neighbors, former students, acquaintances, and co-workers you are all invited to the celebration of Martha and Gene Leonard’s 50th wedding anniversary to be held at St. Francis Episcopal Church, located on Kane Creek Blvd. from 2 to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday Aug. 27. That’s right, the two grey haired people that you see hand in hand strolling the streets of Moab are celebrating the fiftieth year of their journey together, which began with their marriage Aug. 22, 1955. Former school teachers, Martha taught kindergarten and Gene taught at the high school. They have touched many lives, so please come and join in the celebration. Light refreshments will be served. The pleasure of your company and your good wishes are all that they are asking for so please no gifts.
