The Moab branch of Mountain America Credit Union (MACU) is raising funds to help the Grand County High School cheerleading squad purchase new regulation mats needed for performing stunts.

MACU has designed a custom Red Devil MyExpress Debit card and for every new card issued the credit union will donate $5. For every standard debit card that is replaced with a Red Devil card, MACU will donate $2. These donations will be matched up to $1,500 by the Grand County Education Foundation, according to a news release.

The debit card is used like a prepaid card, and can be used wherever Visa debit cards are accepted, according to MACU officials.

The debit cards can be obtained at MACU, 1047 S. Main St., through Nov. 28, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
