Carroll was born Aug. 22, 1934, to Sidney B. and Annie Fay Langston Clark, in Kim, Colo. He lived in a number of states before settling in Moab, Utah.
He married Ginger Johnson Dec. 22, 1954, and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity. To their union were born four wonderful children: Shane, Terry, Cari and Kathleen.
He worked in many different jobs, from driving truck and doing mill work for Charlie Steen, to an electronic technician for the Tooele Army Depot. He also was a farmer, and last worked for the National Park Service.
He was loved by many as he loved them. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved his Savior and his family.
Carroll is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ginger; three children, Shane, Terry and Kathleen; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers; and daughter, Cari.
As per his wishes a graveside service will be held Thursday, Feb. 20, at 2 p.m. at the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
