I have regularly attended and supported the high school as well as the community theater and as many live performances as I could throughout my lifetime. I personally think this was the best performed, best cast, best costumes, best musical, best directed of anything I have ever attended whether in Moab, Salt Lake City, Denver, New York, Los Angeles and by any production.
When people are as talented as these students and their parents and teachers are, it is such a pleasure to write a letter acclaiming their success. When a group shows how well they can work together, it is such a blessing to be part of their community and to be able to watch, share, and appreciate their gifts.
Accolades were so well deserved. I hope each student at Grand County High School recognizes the efforts and talents that are in their midst, whether you were involved in this production or not. I wish there could be a “state competition” for drama productions (and perhaps there is), similar to state football and other sports.
All Grand County High School students were treated to the time and the opportunity to attend this performance on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at noon by the faculty, staff and the cast. A special treat of root beer floats followed the performance.
What an exceptional occasion, just before Thanksgiving, to be blessed with such a special gift of sharing by our young men and women!
Thank you for sharing.
