He always loved a good party, and if he wasn’t too busy launching a hot air balloon, he would probably be playing his double bass or ukulele.
He passed away peacefully in the wee hours of Sunday morning, Nov. 17, at Moab Regional Hospital.
A musical jam in his honor will be held at his house in Alert Bay. B.C., at the usual time on Saturday evening, Nov. 23.
He was survived by his son, Hugh; his daughter, Kari; and his grandson, Zephyr.
