Like her, I regularly jog these paths. Unlike her, I’ve never felt uncomfortable there, never been addressed rudely, never noticed an open beer can and rather doubt the fleeting visage of said evil would irrevocably steer some unfortunate child into a life of abject wretchedness.
If the city pushes these folks away, they’ll have to have somewhere else to go. Better think about that first. You’re not going to make them disappear.
