Sharing the joy...

Now that summer is approaching it would be cool to think back on some of the epiphanies of the long winter nights when we thought: “Damn, this summer I’m going to go fishing.” But as usual we will procrastinate and forget to set the alarm or watch someone else fish on TV to satisfy our “manly” traditions.

Well, I procrastinate too, and I was thinking this summer I’m going to organize a program to match up guys with kids that don’t have dads around that can take them up to Don’s or Hidden Lake for an early morning fish, to feel the joy again of “fish on” through sharing the joy with a kid or two.

Maybe getting a wake-up call from your new “bud” (as well as four or five calls the day and night before) would help you give up a few boring days doing honey-do’s in town this summer.
