She was a beautiful, loving wife, mother and grandmother. Marian was a very courageous woman and was known to be a worker, who fought the good fight.
She loved Jesus with her whole heart and served him faithfully.
Marian is survived by her husband, Jackson Yellow; son, Jackson Denetclaw Yellow; daughters, Diana Rose Yellow and Shairlene Ann Yellow; brother, Hanson Denetclaw; sisters, Mary Ann Van Winkle, Gladys Daniels and Ruth Wilson; and five grandchildren.
A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2, at First Baptist Church of Aztec, 700 Navajo Ave., Aztec, N.M., with Pastor Justin Ross officiating.
Interment followed in the Cedar Hill Community Cemetery.
Marian’s care was entrusted to Cope Memorial Chapel of Aztec, 405 S. Main Ave., in Aztec.
