He was born to Kenneth and Donna Willison on July 8, 1984, in Rochester, N.Y. He married AmAsie Green in 2006 at Red Cliffs Ranch in a breathtaking ceremony near Moab, Utah.
Peter was an Eagle Scout and loved spending time with family and his many pets. He loved all things basketball, and “thrifting.” Peter will forever be remembered for his hard working ethics, generosity, curiosity, loyalty, warmth, sense of humor and ability to light up a room the moment he entered it.
Peter and AmAsie loved their time in Nevada, where they had built their own little “Willison Ranch” consisting of cats, horses, miniature goats and ponies and chickens, and Peter was in the process of building pens for his future additions, a pig and a cow. Their love was the kind of love only found in fairy tales.
Peter is survived by his wife, AmAsie Willison; their kids, Bucket and Trigger (dogs); his parents, Kenneth and Donna Willison; his in-laws, Kent and Cricket Green; brother-in-law, Josh (Kelly) Green; his siblings, Amy and Bryan Collyer, Jeromy Willison and Andrea Lipomi, Kristian and Michael Freeman, Natalie Willison and Jacob Ellis, Mark and Nancy Willison, Emilie and Taylor Bice, Carisa Willison and Alexander Halstead, Darren Willison and Shawn Newton; many loving nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on March 5 at the Community Church of Moab, followed by a graveside service at the White Family Cemetery, mile-marker 14, State Route 128, Moab.
