A graveside service was held at the Fairview City Cemetery Thursday, July 11, at 11 a.m. A celebration of her life was held Friday July 12, open house from 2-8 p.m., at the Clubhouse of the Garden Park Condos; Garden Park Dr, Orem. Her Bishop gave a prayer at 4 p.m.
She was born Jan. 29, 1940, in Fairview, Utah, to Marcell and Floyd Tucker. She grew up in Sunnyside, Utah. She was married to George “Babe” Russell and moved to Moab, Utah, where they raised their two children, Bryan and Kristie. They were married for 25 years.
Besides being a loving mother she was the secretary for Grand County High School. In 1983, she began working for Rural Water Association of Utah as office manager; this is where she continued her work until she retired in 2003.
She is survived by her ex-husband, George “Babe” Russell; her son, Bryan (Alicia) Russell; her daughter, Kristie Vincent; Daniel Vincent; five grandchildren, Ashley (Jesse) Dixon, BreAnn Russell, Tiffanie Vincent, Austin Vincent, and Kaycee Russell; four great-grandchildren, Hagen, Kolter, Brodee, and Cayle Dixon; as well her brother, Michael (Loretta) Tucker; and her three nieces Jodi, Lori, and Lisa.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father.
Her best talent in life was making friends everywhere she went. She will be greatly missed by all!
