Representatives from a variety of Utah colleges and career representatives from across the state will be on hand to meet with students and parents, according to a news release.
An evening session will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. at the gym. That session will feature question-and-answer sessions, led by representatives from Utah State University, Utah Parent Center, and Active Re-Entry, about such issues as college costs, registering for services and how to determine a future career path.
Later in the evening, from 6 to 8 p.m., the school will hold a financial aid information evening for high school seniors who need help applying for college funding. The event will be held at the GCHS writing lab.
All events are free of charge and open to parents and children. Parents who attend the career fair will be entered into a drawing to win savings bonds and gift cards, school officials said.
