Edwards, a senior, is the daughter of Terry Galen and Tom Edwards.
This trimester, Edwards is enrolled in an English class at Utah State University-Moab, in hopes of getting a head start on her associates’ degree.
Outside of school, Edwards has been involved in many community service projects, including helping with the BEACON after-school program and doing service projects on behalf of the National Honor Society. Edwards also interns with the Moab Music Festival.
At school, Edwards participates in a variety of activities. She is a debate co-captain in impromptu and a participant in Lincoln-Douglas debate. She is also co-president of the Earth Club, vice president of the GCHS National Honor Society chapter, and senior class vice president.
Edwards said her post-high school plans include attending college in the Salt Lake City area.
Cresswell, the son of Matt and Heidi Cresswell, is also a senior at GCHS.
This trimester, Cresswell is enrolled in politics and government and a math class at USU-Moab. He says he hopes to challenge himself through those college classes.
Cresswell was a lineman on Grand County High’s football team and was recently named to the 2A Academic All-State football team. He is an active member of art club and also participates in the National Honor Society.
Outside of school, Cresswell has received his Eagle Scout award. He also does lawn work for a local dentist.
After high school, he plans to go on an LDS mission, then later continue his education at a college or university.
