WINSTON-SALEM N.C. (Reuters) - One person was in custody after a shooting on Tuesday at a high school in Albemarle, North Carolina, according to police and local media reports. One person had been shot at Albemarle High School, and the school was on lockdown, NBC's Charlotte affiliate WCNC reported. A woman who answered the phone at the police department confirmed someone was in custody but had no other immediate details. Albemarle is about 40 miles northeast of Charlotte.
