Friends of Arches and Canyonlands Parks, The National Park Service, BLM and National Parks Conservation Association are sponsoring a Graffiti Awareness Day in Moab on Saturday September 28th in conjunction with National Public Lands Day. The event begins at 9 am at Arches Visitor Center Conference Room with a meeting and light breakfast. Then vans will transport volunteers to 5 different sites within Arches and BLM Land where graffiti is most prevalent. Plan on bringing a lunch, water bottle, gloves and sunscreen.
