Dad was the only boy of 6 children.  His father taught him at an early age how to drive heavy equipment.  He was taught to be a hard worker and never stop till the work was done.  This quality Dale has handed down to his children as well.

Dale married Jacqueline Harvey May 28, 1949.  They were blessed with 6 children, Kathy, Lewis, Lane, Russel, Laile and Kendall.

Dale loved to spend time together with his family.  Every weekend was set aside for camping, fishing, and hunting or just out riding the horses.

Dales started working for San Juan County Rd. Dept. in 1950, then he moved to the State road dept. for a few yrs, then he went back to the County where he retired after almost 40 yrs working for the county.
